CUDump Terms of Service
Draft notice: operator details shown in brackets must be completed before public launch.
These Terms explain the rules for using CUDump and the responsibilities that come with publishing and interacting with community content.
1. About CUDump
CUDump is a pseudonymous community and social platform where users can publish posts, questions, confessions and other user-generated content, and interact through comments, votes and reactions. The service is operated by [FULL LEGAL NAME].
2. Eligibility
The current beta is available only to people aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and can enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Usernames are pseudonyms, but you remain responsible for activity performed through your account. Impersonating another person or organization is prohibited.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant CUDump a non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, technically reproduce and distribute that content within the service, and to moderate it, only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide CUDump. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where a limited copy must remain for legal, security, backup or dispute purposes.
You are responsible for having the rights needed to publish your content.
5. Community rules and prohibited use
You must not use CUDump to publish or facilitate:
- unlawful content or illegal or dangerous activity;
- harassment, bullying, threats, hate or abusive content;
- doxxing or personal information shared without authorization;
- impersonation, spam or deceptive conduct;
- sexual content that violates law or platform rules;
- child sexual abuse or exploitation material;
- malicious attempts to compromise CUDump, its users or its security; or
- abuse of reporting or moderation systems.
Content may violate platform rules even if it is not unlawful. Likewise, legal content may still be restricted where it breaches these published rules.
6. Ghost Mode
Ghost Mode hides the author's public CUDump identity from ordinary users. Ghost content is not linked to the author's public profile, and there is no persistent public Ghost alias. CUDump retains the internal ownership relationship needed for authorization, security and moderation.
Authorized administrators may resolve Ghost ownership when necessary to investigate abuse or moderate content. This access is restricted and audited. Ghost Mode is not complete anonymity and does not make content immune from moderation. See How Ghost Mode works.
7. Votes, reactions and Aura
Votes, reactions and Aura are community and product features. Aura is calculated from eligible engagement and may be adjusted as the product changes. Ghost activity does not generate Aura. Rankings and reputation calculations may evolve to improve the service.
8. Moderation
Reports are reviewed by human moderators. Depending on the circumstances, CUDump may remove or restrict content, investigate reports, suspend an account for 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days or 30 days, or permanently ban an account. Authorized roles may reveal a Ghost content owner for a legitimate investigation, and that access is audited.
Decisions are made under these rules and applicable law. Affected users receive a public reason through the moderation or account-status mechanisms currently available in the service. The Hot feed is a ranking feature, not an automated moderation system.
9. Reports and illegal content
Logged-in users can report posts, comments and profiles for review. A separate electronic notice mechanism for allegedly illegal content may be provided. The in-product report tool is not represented as the only method for every legally required notice.
10. Account deletion
Deleting an account permanently removes account access and the active public profile. The
old username becomes reusable, and votes and reactions made by that account are removed.
Normal posts and comments remain under an anonymized former_user_... identity so
conversations retain their structure. Ghost content remains presented as Ghost.
You may delete individual content before deleting your account. Statutory privacy and erasure requests remain available where applicable through the contact below.
11. Service availability
CUDump may change, interrupt or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability, but will take reasonable care in operating the service.
12. Enforcement
Breaches of these Terms may lead to content removal, temporary suspension or permanent termination. The response may take account of severity, context, repetition and applicable legal duties.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as CUDump or applicable requirements change. Significant changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel before they take effect where required.
14. Liability
Liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory product-liability rules. Any further liability is determined under the applicable legal rules and the nature of the obligation concerned.
15. Applicable law
German law applies to the extent legally permissible. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections provided by the law that would otherwise apply to them. No mandatory venue is imposed on consumers by these Terms.
16. Contact
Operator and provider details are available in the Imprint. Legal questions can be sent to [LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL].
